Audrey Walker

Audrey Walker 1939 - 2011 Audrey Walker, 71, of Boise, ID passed away on April 14, 2011 due to complications from pneumonia. Audrey was born to Newton Walker of Casper, WY and Vivian Camp of Mt. Erie, IL on October 16, 1939 in Champaign, IL. Audrey was married to Jerry Pasquetti of Sacramento, CA in February 1959 in Reno, NV. She had 4 children who she loved dearly. She had a strong passion for nursing and shortly after became an LPN. In 1975, Audrey moved to Boise, ID to be closer to her parents. She dedicated much of her life caring for others as she worked at the VA Hospital and The Good Samaritan Village in Boise, ID for many years. Audrey spent the last years of her life as a primary care taker for her mother who passed away this time last year. Audrey enjoyed many activities such as camping, fishing and numerous hobbies including arts and crafts and was an avid collector of Betty Boop memorabilia. Audrey is survived by four children, Christy Garceau of Hailey, ID, Nicholas Pasquetti of Reno, NV, Angela Pasquetti of Reno, NV, and Dino Pasquetti of Las Vegas, NV as well as three grandchildren, Chasidy Decker of Boise, ID, Tristan Garceau of Visalia, CA and Monica Garceau of Flagstaff, AZ. She is also survived by a brother Jim Walker (Renee) of Boise, ID and two nieces Jamie Cilley and Jessica Walker both of Boise, ID and a nephew John Walker of McCall, ID as well as one great niece and three great nephews. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Newton and Vivian Walker. A private ceremony for family and friends are to be determined.


 


 

Bobbie Hansen

Bobbie Lou Hansen, BLACKFOOT - Bobbie Lou Hansen, 82, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Bingham Memorial Hospital., Bobbie Lou was born August 16, 1928, in Central, Idaho, to Wilford and Matilda Andersen. She was the sixth of seven children. She came from a close-knit family who shared the joys and struggles of farm life. She graduated from Grace High School in 1946., On September 9, 1946, she married Welland "Rusty" Hansen in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They spent four years in Moscow, Idaho, where Bobbie worked at a local bookstore, helping to put Rusty through college at the University of Idaho, returning to Bancroft to farm in the summers., After college they returned to the Bancroft area, where they farmed for another 13 years. In the spring of 1962, they made their home west of Rockford as they expanded their farming operation. During that time they enjoyed raising their five children and crops together. In their spare time, they traveled and enjoyed their cabin at Island Park. In 1998, they retired from farming and moved to Surprise, Arizona., They loved Arizona, having spent the previous 20 years during the winter at their home in Wickenburg, Arizona. Bobbie loved the desert plants and they thrived in her home at Rockford, as well as their Arizona homes. In the fall of 2005, Bobbie and Rusty moved back to Blackfoot to be closer to family., Bobbie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities, including Young Women's president, Relief Society counselor and Primary teacher., She was a great cook and homemaker. She enjoyed music, tole painting, talking to people and writing memorable letters., One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren, who she loved dearly and was very involved in their lives, supporting them any way she could., Bobbie Lou is survived by her husband, Welland; children, Nancy (Jack) Stark, of White Hall, Maryland, Zane (Janae) Hansen, of Moreland, Heidi Englehardt, of Atlanta, Georgia, Natalie (Earl) Seely, of Bountiful, Utah, and Michelle (Dwight) Hunsaker, of Parker, Colorado. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Hoyt Andersen, of Glendora, California, and Terry Andersen, of Riverton, Utah., She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Travis Mitchell, Faye Selcho, and two infant sisters, Mary Rose and Betty Jeanne., A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the Blackfoot West LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Bruce Ritche conducting., The family will meet with friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho, and again on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church., Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery., Condolences may be sent to the family at

Magdaline Sanchotena

Magdaline Sanchotena 1914-2011 Magdaline Sanchotena, 96 of Eagle, passed away April 21, 2011 Maggie was born Oct. 15, 1914 in St. Louis, Mo., to Mike and Eva Papapavlos. She was married to Michel Sanchotena in Elko, Nevada on June 22, 1934. They moved to Burley in 1950 and then to Meridian in 1958 where they farmed for about 42 years. After retiring from farming they moved to Eagle and spent much of their time camping, fishing, hunting and hanging out with their family. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Michel, her parents, two sisters, one brother and three grandchildren. Maggie is survived by three sisters, two brothers her daughter Mary (Terry) Hasselbring, and three sons: Mich (Shirley) Sanchotena, John (Christi) Sanchotena, Albert Sanchotena, five grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. Maggie was a great Wife and mother and was loved very much by her Family and friends and will be missed by all. The sadness of our loss is replaced by the joy that she is at home in her heavenly place. The family would like to extend thanks to all the staff at Ashley Manor (Elgin ST), St. Luke's hospice that cared for mom in the earlier stages of her illness, and especially to Auburn Crest Hospice during the final part of mom's life. Service will be held at 11 a.m on Wednesday April 27 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church at 6300 N. Meridian Rd in Meridian. Services are under the direction of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, Meridian.


 


 

Martin Hinz

Martin R. "Marty" Hinz 1955-2011 Martin R. "Marty" Hinz passed away at age 55, at his home on April 15, 2011. Marty was born on July 27, 1955 in Ontario, Ore., to Otto and Connie Hinz. He was raised in Payette, Idaho and graduated from Payette High School in 1973. He lived the majority of his life here in the Treasure Valley. Marty enjoyed the outdoors, from camping, hunting, fishing to snowmobiling, and skiing. He always had a great sense of humor and could bring you to laughter in seconds. Marty is survived by his daughter Stephanie Livesay, son-in-law Ian Livesay, three grandsons Logan, Drew, and Eli Livesay. He is also survived by his mother, Connie Hinz, three sisters, Cheri Bower, Linda Wells, Kathy Newkirk, two brothers, Walt Hinz, and Todd Hinz. He is preceded in death by his father, Otto Hinz and brother, Wade Hinz.
